Boost Your Personal Credit

There are several ways that you can boost your personal credit, including of course to pay your bills. But, other than that, there are several steps that you can take to increase your credit score. In our free ebook – Business Credit Toolkit, you will learn about seven additional ways for you to boost your credit. These methods include the following:

  • Experian Boost –  The way this boost program works is that Experian will allow your streaming, phone and utility payments “count” toward your Experian credit score. Pay these on time, and your score goes up.
  • Become an authorized user on someone else’s credit card, like a family member
  • Apply for a secured credit card. A secured credit card is one where you put up a deposit for the amount of credit you are looking for.
  • Use a credit-builder loan from your local bank or credit union.
  • Use a rent-reporting service. Some companies offer to have your rent payments reported to the credit bureaus, allowing you to build your credit file.
  • Get credit for using your debit card to make purchases. If you typically pay with your debit card for purchases, you can continue to use your debit card but get credit for using it and have that credit report to credit bureaus.
  • Remove hard inquiries and negative items from your personal credit report. Hard inquiries are made when you apply for credit. If you are already working with a credit repair specialist, then you are in good hands. If not, we can help you achieve this.
